Alina Berestovitskaja, a name synonymous with resilience and grace, made waves during her recent appearance at New York Fashion Week. Attending some of the most coveted shows from renowned designers, Alina stood as a testament to how sheer willpower and hard work can catapult someone to the pinnacle of the fashion world.

Born near Kharkiv, Ukraine, Alina’s journey began not on a runway but on a stage. She was a promising dancer, having graduated from a prestigious choreographic school with dreams of a long and fruitful career in the world of performing arts. However, life had different plans. A devastating injury forced her to leave behind her passion for the stage and theater, which could have ended her artistic journey right there. But Alina’s story didn’t stop; it only shifted directions.

From the ashes of one dream rose another. At the age of 17, Alina was scouted near Kharkiv by a modeling agency from Kyiv called Divace. The agency was managed at the time by Oksana Zubakova, who was a celebrated model. That meeting on the street was the beginning of a new chapter. Alina’s natural beauty, poise, and tenacity made her a perfect fit for the modeling world. She quickly began working with top Ukrainian designers, advertising their collections, and participating in events like Ukrainian Fashion Week.

Alina spent 1.5 years working in Kyiv, gaining experience, improving her craft, and building a name for herself in the fashion industry. It wasn’t long before her talent caught the attention of global fashion giants, leading her to work with brands like Nivea and Wella and sign contracts with prestigious agencies such as IMG Models in Paris and Luisa Models in Germany.

Throughout her career, Alina has graced the runways of some of the most iconic fashion houses in the world. She has walked for Valentino, Calvin Klein, and Roberto Cavalli, showcasing her versatility and adaptability as a model. Her portfolio expanded to include advertising campaigns, fashion editorials, and appearances in fashion shows across the globe.

Alina now resides in Dortmund, Germany, where she works as a freelance model, having accepted offers from several top-tier modeling agencies. Despite the glamour and success she has achieved, Alina has never forgotten her roots or the resilience it took to get her where she is today.

But her journey hasn’t been without its hardships. Alina owned 16 establishments in Ukraine before the war. Unfortunately, during the war, two large cafes in the central park of Kharkiv and her restaurant/karaoke were nearly destroyed. However, instead of giving up, Alina continues to embody resilience and hope. She has shifted her focus and aims to create a charitable foundation and a women’s club.

One of her most ambitious projects is the creation of a club designed to support women in discovering their true potential and living their best lives. The club’s mission is to provide access to a luxurious, queen-like lifestyle, helping women embrace their femininity and build their own success stories. Alina aims to create an ecosystem for women to enhance their talents, increase their income, and confidently shine on red carpets and runways alike.

Her plans don’t stop there. In 2024, Alina represented Germany at the Ms. World competition in Miami, USA, where she won the title of Ms. Germany World 2024. She also earned the coveted title of Print Model of the Year 2024. Her remarkable achievements continued as she became a finalist in the Ms. World International 2024 competition, ranking in the Top 10.

In addition to her modeling and charitable endeavors, Alina plans to open a modeling agency in Germany, with the goal of promoting young talents and bringing them onto the world stage. Her vision for the agency aligns with her passion for supporting the next generation of models, helping them navigate the often challenging world of fashion while providing them with opportunities to succeed on their terms.

Attending New York Fashion Week became another significant milestone in Alina’s career. She interacted with top designers, attended exclusive parties, and built valuable connections with the industry’s elite. For Alina, Fashion Week provides a unique insight into the direction in which fashion is heading. It is also an opportunity to learn, grow, and inspire others by setting an example.

Alina’s story is one of unwavering determination. From Kharkiv to the global stage, she has risen through challenges, overcome personal setbacks, and transformed every obstacle into an opportunity. Her dedication to her craft, combined with her desire to help others, continues to set her apart in the competitive world of fashion. With her modeling agency in the works and her plans for female empowerment taking shape, the future looks bright for Alina Berestovitskaja.

In the ever-changing world of fashion, Alina’s resilience, vision, and commitment to empowering others ensure that she is not only a force to be reckoned with but a beacon of inspiration for all. Whether walking the runways of New York Fashion Week or building a platform for women to discover their inner strength, Alina’s story is proof that with hard work and perseverance, anything is possible.
