In a heartwarming deviation from tradition, Grace Fellowship Church (GFC) in Baltimore, MD, embraced the spirit of Christmas with a unique and unforgettable celebration, “Christmas At Grace.” The two-day Christmas program, held on December 23-24, 2023, at 9505 Deereco Road, Timonium, MD 21093, featured live animals, including the beloved Brutus The Camel, creating an immersive experience that enchanted over 4000 attendees of all ages.

A Christmas Spectacle Like No Other

Breaking away from conventional festivities, GFC aimed to bring the nativity story to life, and indeed, they succeeded. Families and friends gathered to witness the unfolding of the Christmas story, surrounded by the warmth and presence of live animals, adding a touch of magic to the holiday season.

“We were so excited to bring the nativity story to life,” expressed Pastor Shea Strickland. “We anticipated the joy and wonder in the eyes of families and friends as they witnessed the unfolding of the Christmas story, surrounded by the warmth and presence of the beloved Brutus The Camel and other live animals.”

Educational and Inclusive Celebration

Beyond the enchanting experience, GFC incorporated educational elements into the event, showcasing how animals contribute to the overall narrative of Christmas. The church aimed to create an environment where everyone, regardless of abilities, felt welcome and embraced by the warmth of the season.

Community Unity and Joyful Celebration

“Christmas At Grace” went beyond being merely educational and entertaining; it served as a unique opportunity to bring the community together in a scene reminiscent of the first Christmas. The church, by providing a space for shared experiences, aimed to foster a sense of unity, love, and joy during the holiday season.
