Together, they faced the turbulent tides of life, supporting each other through the accusations and judgments that often rained down upon them. This friendship, rooted in faith and unwavering support, allowed Jeanith to navigate the stormy waters of her life with courage and determination.

Jeanith’s resilience and determination didn’t stop at surviving the storms in her personal life. She found her calling as a Disaster Risk Reduction Management (DRRM) advocate, responding to the needs of the most vulnerable and marginalized in her community. In addition to her passion for DRRM, Jeanith ventured into the field of education, working in an aircraft maintenance technology school in Leyte. This was no ordinary role; she took on multiple responsibilities, wearing numerous hats from guidance counselor to registrar and even librarian. She commuted tirelessly, dedicating her efforts to providing quality education to her students.
However, even in this pursuit, she was met with yet another storm. Accusations of strict teaching and financial improprieties were hurled at her. The school’s focus had shifted towards profits, viewing education as a business, which clashed with Jeanith’s vision of imparting quality knowledge to her students. Despite the challenges, Jeanith remained resolute, never losing sight of her commitment to teaching and helping her students reach their full potential.
