A Table Set for Women Who Lead

AUCKLAND, New Zealand – On October 13, a roundtable in Auckland will gather women who have shaped boardrooms, laboratories, parliaments, and communities across New Zealand and the wider Asia-Pacific. The occasion is The Era of Her, the inaugural Women’s Leadership Dialogue hosted by Beauty Rush New Zealand, a new platform dedicated to honouring women’s achievements and advancing the conversation about what women’s leadership means in 2026 and beyond.

The dialogue is expected to draw senior figures from politics, academia, business, and the cultural sector, alongside pioneering women entrepreneurs from both New Zealand and the Chinese community. Organisers describe the format as deliberately intimate: a genuine roundtable rather than a stage, built for candid exchange on ambition, resilience, mentorship, and the narratives women are writing for themselves across cultures. The speaker line-up will be confirmed and announced closer to the date.

Why Now, and Why Auckland

The timing is deliberate. New Zealand, the first nation in the world to grant women the vote in 1893, carries a particular historical weight in any conversation about women’s leadership. Auckland, the country’s most diverse and internationally connected city, offers a fitting stage for a dialogue that deliberately spans cultures: the event will bring Kiwi women leaders into conversation with women entrepreneurs and professionals from the Chinese community, reflecting the deepening ties between the two countries.

“The Era of Her begins from a simple conviction: that women’s achievements deserve not only celebration, but continuity,” said a spokesperson for Beauty Rush New Zealand. “Too often, women’s leadership is honoured in a headline and forgotten by the next news cycle. We are building a platform, not an event, a table that stays set, year after year, for the women who are shaping our time.”

From a Beauty Brand to a Leadership Platform

That a beauty company is behind the initiative may surprise some; the brand argues it should not. Beauty Rush – known for its New Zealand-made beauty drinks, led by its newest flagship CELL X BEAUTY, and guided by its “three-phase care” philosophy of nourishment, repair, and radiance – has consistently framed beauty as an expression of inner confidence rather than surface appearance. The Era of Her, the company says, is that philosophy extended into public life.

The October dialogue follows a year of institution-building for the young brand. Beauty Rush is in discussions with the University of Auckland on joint research in skin nutrition, and has launched a cultural heritage initiative supporting the preservation of Quanzhou’s centuries-old Zanhua floral headdress tradition in China. Together, the programmes sketch the outline of a brand positioning itself at the intersection of science, culture, and women’s advancement.

“Our products speak to women about time, how to work with it, not against it,” the spokesperson added. “The Era of Her speaks about time too: the time women have given, the ground they have gained, and the future they are building. We chose the name because we believe this era belongs to her achievements, and it is time the world said so, clearly and repeatedly.”

The afternoon’s programme will pair a keynote with a moderated roundtable exchange on women’s leadership, balance, and self-belief across cultures, with the full agenda to be revealed closer to the date. Participating speakers will be announced through the brand’s channels in the days ahead of the event.

What to Expect on October 13

The Auckland dialogue will feature keynote reflections, a moderated roundtable exchange, and the launch of The Era of Her manifesto, a public statement of commitments to mentorship, visibility, and cross-cultural women’s leadership. Highlights and key takeaways will be released following the event through international media channels, and the brand has confirmed that the dialogue will return as an annual fixture, with plans to expand the platform’s reach across the Asia-Pacific region.

Attendance is by invitation, with a public programme of content, interviews, dialogue highlights, and the manifesto itself, to be published in the weeks following the event. Media and partnership enquiries are being accepted through the brand’s official channels.
