Treisi Konini is a New York- and Albania-based makeup artist known for her clean, modern approach to beauty. Influenced by European elegance and New York’s creative energy, her work is defined by precision, balance, and an intentional enhancement of natural features. Her aesthetic blends structure with softness, resulting in looks that feel elevated, wearable, and timeless.
Drawn to makeup for its ability to build confidence, Treisi views beauty as a form of self-expression rather than transformation. She believes makeup should support individuality, not mask it. Her signature style prioritizes skin-focused makeup, refined complexion work, and subtle definition, creating results that photograph beautifully while still feeling authentic in real life. Her unique ability to adapt her artistry to various settings has made her a sought-after professional in both intimate and large-scale environments.
From an early stage, Treisi was fascinated by how small details could completely shift the way someone feels. This curiosity evolved into a deeper appreciation for makeup as both an artistic and interpersonal practice, one that requires creativity, discipline, and emotional awareness. Over the years, Treisi has worked with a diverse range of clients, helping them to feel confident and radiant.
What made you want to become a makeup artist?
Treisi: I was fascinated by how small details can change how someone feels. Makeup allows me to combine creativity with structure and create looks that feel intentional and personal. I wanted a career where creativity was meaningful, where I could work closely with people and create something that helps support how they want to feel. Knowing my work becomes part of an important moment in someone’s life is incredibly rewarding. The joy of seeing someone light up after a makeup session is what keeps me motivated to continue doing this work every day.
Professionally trained in New York and deeply rooted in Albania, Treisi brings a cross-cultural perspective to her work. Her background allows her to move seamlessly between classic European beauty principles and the modern, fast-paced standards of the New York beauty scene. This dual influence has shaped her adaptability and refined eye, enabling her to work comfortably across different styles, skin tones, and facial structures. Her ability to blend these cultural influences helps her craft personalized looks that resonate with her clients, making them feel truly seen.
What is most important to you as an artist?
Treisi: Understanding when to add and when to stop. Good makeup comes from awareness of the face, the skin, and the person.
This philosophy is reflected throughout her work. Treisi believes that makeup should enhance presence, not overpower it. She is particularly attentive to balance, texture, and finish, making sure that each element works in harmony. Her looks are designed to feel confident, polished, and effortless. The focus is always on creating a natural, refined look that amplifies the client’s unique beauty, rather than masking it with heavy layers.
Beyond artistry, Treisi places strong emphasis on professionalism and client experience. Preparation, hygiene, and clear communication are central to her practice. She understands that trust is the foundation of beauty work, and she approaches every client with care, respect, and attentiveness. Treisi’s ability to listen carefully to her clients’ needs has earned her a loyal following, with many returning for her thoughtful and bespoke approach to makeup.
Through professional training, salon experience, and ongoing collaborations, Treisi has built a strong foundation rooted in technique and client care. She is known for her attention to detail, adaptability, and calm, focused approach, qualities that allow her to perform well in both high-pressure and intimate settings.
Currently working between New York and Albania, Treisi continues to build her personal brand, The Treis Touch, with a clear focus on modern, refined beauty that feels authentic, confident, and timeless.
