Discover how Joseph and Robyn Crisp transformed their passion for veteran welfare into Huntsman Transport, a thriving extradition company dedicated to providing purpose-driven careers to U.S. veterans, helping address suicide rates one mission at a time.

In October 2023, Joseph and Robyn Crisp launched “Huntsman Transport” with a vision that reached far beyond business. Their goal was clear: to provide U.S. veterans with purpose-driven careers and contribute to tackling the growing crisis of veteran suicide through meaningful employment.

For Joseph Crisp, a Marine Corps veteran, the mission was personal. Having lost close friends and mentors to suicide, he understood the emotional toll of life after military service. The absence of structure, camaraderie, and a clear mission often leaves veterans feeling isolated. Joseph saw purpose as a potential solution, and Huntsman Transport was born from that belief.

Robyn Crisp, co-founder and Director of Administration, brought sharp operational insight and leadership to the table. Her strategic guidance has been key in growing Huntsman Transport into a successful U.S. extradition company in less than a year, one built not just on performance, but on people.

Veteran Suicide in America

The transition from military to civilian life can be fraught with challenges. The loss of camaraderie, structure, and a clear mission often leads to feelings of isolation and despair among veterans. According to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, an estimated 17 veterans die by suicide each day.

Joseph Crisp experienced this crisis firsthand. The suicide of his mentor and other comrades left a profound impact on him. “Every loss affected me deeply, making me wonder if I could do more to prevent it,” Joseph recalls. He came to believe that the absence of a clear purpose might be a significant factor contributing to this epidemic.

Huntsman Transport

Determined to make a difference, Joseph and Robyn founded Huntsman Transport, a company that employs veterans as U.S. Extradition Agents. These roles involve transporting criminals across the country for various law enforcement agencies, demanding discipline, resilience, and tactical expertise—qualities that veterans often possess in abundance.

“We’re doing more than moving people from point A to point B,” Robyn explains. “We aim to give our veterans a reason to get up every day, a mission to believe in, and a family to lean on.”

A Thriving Enterprise with Heart

In less than a year, Huntsman Transport has grown into a successful multimillion-dollar operation, reflecting the Crisps’ relentless work ethic and shared commitment to their cause. The company’s success is measured not in dollars but in lives changed. “Each veteran we hire, each transport we complete, brings us closer to reducing the risk of another tragedy,” Joseph states.

The company’s unique approach has gained attention and respect within the industry. Under Joseph’s leadership, Huntsman Transport has established a reputation for prisoner conveyance with a blend of military precision and strong accountability.

As a power couple, Joseph and Robyn bring complementary strengths to the table. Joseph offers vision and firsthand understanding of the veteran experience, while Robyn’s strategic mind and unwavering determination have been instrumental in scaling the company. “The company’s progress stems from my wife’s support and the dedication of the team behind it,” Joseph acknowledges.

Huntsman Transport serves as a supportive environment for veterans, a place where their skills are valued, bonds are forged, and purpose is rediscovered. The work is demanding, often requiring long hours and high-stakes decisions, but it’s precisely this challenge that resonates with those who have served. “Veterans often excel when given responsibility and a meaningful mission,” Robyn explains.

As Huntsman Transport continues to grow, so does the Crisps’ vision. They hope to expand their reach, hire more veterans, and create even more opportunities for those who have given so much. For Joseph and Robyn, this is only the beginning. With every mile traveled and every veteran empowered, they are demonstrating that purpose can serve as a lifeline—and that together, they are making a meaningful impact.

Joseph and Robyn Crisp are not just building a business; they’re building a legacy—one that honors the sacrifices of veterans and strives to ensure that no one is left behind. Through Huntsman Transport, they are addressing veteran suicide with action, one transport at a time, providing meaningful employment and a renewed sense of purpose to those who have served.
