Parenting a neurodiverse child is a unique journey filled with its own sets of joys and challenges, which only becomes more challenging when anxiety and depression set in. When overlaying a spiritual mindset, this journey can transform not only the lives of the child but also those of the entire family.

In her book EMBRACE: Navigating the Complexities of ADHD, Autism, and Anxiety with Love, Marnie shares the importance of having an open mind and exploring all avenues for healing in both mainstream and alternative fields.

Marnie Jurkowski is a valuable case study into how having an open mind and understanding that we are all energetic beings, led her to explore energy healing in her search to help her son manage his crippling depression.  Marnie shares how they found success with energy healing using the Energy Enhancement System (EES).  She also shares how a specialized type of hypnosis called QHHT, can play a crucial role to gaining a deep understanding of why, at a soul level, you and your child chose to experience these challenges.

Healing with the Energy Enhancement System

The Energy Enhancement System (EES) creates energy fields of scalar waves, a fifth-dimensional non-linear wave, which helps cells regenerate, reduces inflammation, boosts the immune system, detoxifies the body, and balances the left and right sides of the brain, giving you more energy.

Personal Reflection

When Marnie took Andy to use the Energy Enhancement System, Andy was suffering from crippling depression. Marnie shares that immediately following Andy’s time in the EES, he experienced a noticeable shift in energy and mood, so much so that many people commented on his improvement the following day!

Marnie shares that while medication did help manage Andy’s ADHD, depression, and anxiety on a day-to-day basis, they were simply masking symptoms, while the EES was actually providing deep healing. This had the unanticipated benefit of revealing beautiful qualities in Andy of —kindness and compassion—that had been buried under the dark cloud of depression.

Hypnosis as a Tool to Gain a Deeper Understanding and Healing
The Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT) was another key part of Marnie and Andy’s healing… Through her experience as a Level 2 QHHT practitioner, she has seen firsthand how hypnosis can offer deep emotional healing and insights.

Personal Reflection

Marnie notes that hypnosis has been transformative not only for her clients but also for herself as a parent. This technique allows one to access the subconscious mind, helping to achieve deep understanding and insight into not only themselves but also their child.

Embracing a Holistic Approach

Rather than focusing solely on the medical and mainstream avenues to support your neurodiverse child, Marnie advocates for a holistic approach that includes energy healing as a key component. Energy healing can be approached in various ways. Below is how Marnie incorporated this into their routine.

Technique: Energy Healing

The most effective way to obtain energy healing is through an energy healer. Whenever Andy needs a pick-me-up, Marnie books a session with their local energy healer, and Andy always feels much better afterwards (he has often skipped to the car after a session, which is most uncharacteristic for him).

Technique: Affirmations

Words have power, and daily affirmations can be powerful as they shape our intentions and focus. Affirmations are personal and most effective when you believe in them. However, Marnie recommends an affirmation she learned from Bashar, which both she and Andy use daily: “I am who I am, and that is enough.”

Technique: Nature Connection

Spending time in nature can be incredibly grounding and rejuvenating. Whether it’s a walk in the park or simply sitting under a tree, nature offers a space for reflection and calm. Marnie encourages families to make time for nature and to disconnect from technology as a regular part of their routine.

Technique: Journalling

Starting each day with journalling has many benefits, ultimately helping us lead more mindful and intentional lives. Spending as little as 1 minute at the start of each day by answering three simple questions has had a positive impact on Marnie’s whole family!

  • What is the most important thing I have to do today?
  • What one thing do I deeply appreciate?
  • What quality do I want to show the world today?

 Finding Purpose

Marnie discovered that growth comes through suffering, and that challenges are essential for our soul’s evolution.  Once she embraced her situation and reframed it with love, both Andy and Marnie experienced profound transformations.  They uncovered their purpose – to raise awareness and teach others, and show how healing and growth are possible, even in the darkest of times.

Reflection: Final Words

Parenting a neurodiverse child can feel like a heavy load at times.  However, Marnie reminds us that at a soul level you chose this.  You are luckier than you know. You have a very special role to play as our neurodiverse children are so needed in today’s harsh world.  Sensitivity is a gift, not a flaw.  Marnie highlights that due to this sensitivity, they do respond well to energy healing.  Marnie encourages us to keep an open mind, expect the unexpected and be ready to be transformed.
